Wide Fitting | Oxfords<John Lobb Saunton Bracken Misty Calf EE-width

The Saunton is a refined half-brogue shoe with a slim, round toe. The half brogue style represents an aesthetic compromise between the country style of the wingtip brogue and the city-worker restraint of the quarter brogue. This particular example of the half brogue is particularly suited to city wear because of Lobb’s refined broguing and lustrous ‘misty’ calf leather. Crafted on the elliptical 7000 last, the Saunton is a perfect suit shoe, but can also match beautifully with a sports jacket and trousers.

Founded in London in 1866, John Lobb has been making some of the world’s finest shoes for almost 150 years. This rich heritage is founded upon a relentless commitment to expert craftsmanship and timeless design. It takes 190 individual steps to make a pair of John Lobb shoes, a process that proves the company’s devotion to excellence.
