Monk Straps<John Lobb William II Dark Brown Museum Calf

The William II is a double monk with a double-leather sole. Named after its creator, William Lobb, the William II is a variation on the classic William model (the only difference being the William II’s hand-sewn toe-cap stitching). Other than this small variation, it is a model that remains unchanged since its creation in 1945; with its generous round toe and double leather sole it is the epitome of casual elegance. Crafted on John Lobb’s classic 9795 last, the William II has a generous fit with a timeless round toe. 2025 will mark the 80th anniversary of this wonderful shoe, proof that it is a style impervious to the vicissitudes of fashion.

Founded in London in 1866, John Lobb has been making some of the world’s finest shoes for almost 150 years. This rich heritage is founded upon a relentless commitment to expert craftsmanship and timeless design. It takes 190 individual steps to make a pair of John Lobb shoes, a process that proves the company’s devotion to excellence.
